There are 32 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) in India, following an admission system similar to NITs and IIITs. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts admissions to all GFTI colleges based on JEE Main ranks, offering seats across B.Tech and B.Arch programmes.
